The Valentine's Wish that Transcends Time

Miss Lyla Merrill married Thomas McDonald on Valentine's Day in 1899.  A newspaper clipping from THE LEIGHTON NEWS (Alabama) with the title “A Nice Valentine” recounts the evening as written up in the Iuka Vidette. This Valentine's Day release of Miss Lyla's Papers on Mrs. McDonald's 125 wedding anniversary embraces the gift of history and love with a heartfelt narrative that echoes through the ages.
