14. Shetland Pony Blues (Clack's Store site - Lake Cormorant, MS)
Who was Son House? He was mentor to both Robert Johnson and Muddy Waters. "Nuff said. Alan Lomax, while recording for the Library of Congress in 1941, recorded Son at Clack's Store in Lake Cormorant in 1941. Mr. Lomax said that of all his times with the blues, that was the best. Son played Shetland Pony Blues. Mr. Lomax recorded. Clack's Store is long gone. In a field near where it was, Eddie played Shetland Pony Blues, Frank recorded.
