52. Jolie Blonde (Sunshine)
The tune Jolie Blonde is sometime referred to as the "Cajun national anthem." There is lots of overlap with Cajun music, jazz and the blues. It is all mixed up in kind of a steamy gumbo. Frank is an LSU graduate. Eddie and Frank drove down the levee road near the small town of Sunshine and stopped on the side of road at a special place for a version of the "Cajun national anthem." The ground was muddy. Some of Louisiana stuck with them as they left.
